How well you prepare for your spray tan will determine how great your tan will be. 1) EXFOLIATE: Ladies, please exfoliate. Using our oil free organic sugar scrub and an exfoliating mitt the night before will be your best friend. Shaving, waxing, exfoliating should all be done atleast 24 hour prior to your appointment. Oil free products are a must! Making sure there isnt a layer of oil on your skin that will act like a barrier to your spray tan. You are making sure your skin is one smooth canvas for me to spray tan! 2) DAY OF: Please make sure before coming to your appointment that you have no deoderant on as well as no perfumes or lotions. This will cause your tan to go green!! Taking a body rinse of just water before your tan is recommended. As well please wear dark loose fitting clothing to your appointment. 3) NO TOUCH!: Lastly, after your spray tan be sure to not touch yourself! The DHA on skin from the spray tan is what makes you dark. I know youre so excited about your new tan but please dont touch your skin until that inital rinse so that your hands dont turn brown!

Most clients sleep over night with their spray tans! Anywhere between 12 hours to 24 hours is when you can shower. The longer you leave it on the better, but not longer than 24 hours. If you are doing an express tan, you can shower anywhere between 1-5 hours. Again, the longer you leave it on, the darker you will be. I wouldnt reccomend leaving the express tan on longer than 8 hours. Even when you rinse your tan will keep developing! When you take that first inital rinse, it should only be about 45 seconds in the shower, only rinse with warm water, no soaps or shampoos and pat dry out of the shower. Always remember to lotion 1-2 times a day with an oil free lotion to prolong your tan and ensure an even fade!
